I have a complete m20 Im pulling out of the car as we speak. It should be out by mid afternoon tomorrow. Has 136k I belive and is your if you want to come pick it up for 200.

Looks like your odo says 158k. What makes you believe she only has 136k?
How did she run before?
Would you happen to have compression numbers?
Also looks like it was paired with an automatic?! <--good news!

I apologize on the guestimation I was just taking a stab at what I thought it was. 158k it is. I do not have compression number the car ran like champ as I understand until it blew a head gasket is what previous owner told me.

You can take the auto trany drive shaft or whatever other tid bits you may need as well. let me know ABQ is not that far from PHX

So it needs a head gasket?
Knew $200 was too good to be true.
I'll keep you on the back burner but I am looking for an engine that is ready to drop in with minimal work.
Auto trans was good news cause it means the engine was likely not beat up upon.

i also have a m20 complete engine but in pieces. so what you cannot get i could possibly ship to you. the engine i took apart had 170k just let me know if you need anything else. harness?

Thanks but I've seen this on a local forum. (azbmw.org check it out for meets and group drives) That is an m20b27 from an 'e'...I'm looking for the 'i' engine.
