M42 from a '95 318ti. 185k miles. I hate to see this little guy goto the junkyard. Ran decent when the car was running. Poor cold idle prob temp switch going to the ecu. Purred when warm. New water pump with metal impeller. My dad is giving me a week to get it out of his garage so if anyone wants it, I can remove it and ship it freight. I dont know how much its worth so just shoot me an offer if youre interested. I can give you everything with it including transmission, access, and wiring harness/ecu.

That was meant to say shipped. That price is assuming engine/trans/harness.Originally posted by jrhaileFor the record I have never fucked a goat.Comment

You can poly or steel strap it to a pallet. It's an M42. The oil pan can be used to cushion the engine against the rigors of the LTL truck freight environment.
If you are shipping from depot to depot, it will be affordable. However, if you require liftgate ($75) and residential access fee ($75) on one or both ends, that will jack the price up $150 to $300 plus the cost of freight.
Your best bet is probably to take the head off and junk the rest of the engine.
