No, but the point is, how can you call them fake if you yourself cannot prove they are fake? That is my whole point to vlad's first post. You can't just yell fake if you then state there is no way to tell the difference. Vlad is a respected OG who has hurt this seller's chances because of his "reputation". Some of us see him differently than newer members, he is still respected, but I for one would rather talk to the seller than take some dude who has never held the pedals, who can't tell the difference between real and fake, and who frankly, I wouldn't buy from. Just my opinion that I have formed due to transactions I have heard about.
If Vlad had initially stated " these pedals look good, but there is a really small difference between real pedals and fake pedals. I myself cannot tell the difference without seeing a box." Instead of "ebay fakes", this probably wouldn't be a three page thread.
Dude, for instance, your rims, they're fake. Why? B/c there are a ton of rip offs out there. How does that sound to you? Now try to sell them and have that one of the first comments on your FS thread..... Not too cool is it?
      Yours truly,

^^I'm not sure why you're defending this seller so much but, Vlad's point isn't as much that they're fake but that it is nearly impossible to distinguish reals from fakes. It can't be proven that they are real or fake, and 300 bucks is no small penny to pay for items whos authenticity is contestable. Hell, I could head over to dinans website right now and buy their pedals for a hundred bucks cheaper and have a guarantee that I'm buying authentic products.

So, I think either price needs to drop or their legitimacy needs to be proven in some way.

        My

i just spoke with Rick and CEC in Miami. (305) 446-7778

He stated there is no way to look up individual serial numbers that are on ACS parts. At least he and other distributers do not have that information.

CEC is the source that ACS sent me to..

So, it's back to you believe me and my story or not. It's a matter of trust (just as buying anything else online) and you either believe my story or not.

Well, you have been the only person on this thread to PM me with any serious consideration in buying them. So, I appreciate the honesty. Thanks

Well that's when I figured they were authentic and thought you had proof or receipts of some kind.

Contact ACS again and explain that the provided rep wasn't able to give you the information you need to authenticate your product. I would imagine they would continue to offer you service until they've exhausted all means.

I just read this whole thread and its shitty. Good luck with your sale after some of the needless comments that have been posted here.

Not to stirstuff up but I have to agree with Vlad. All ACS stuff comes with certificate with a hologram on it. With out that or a reciept from CEC or another ACS rep its impossible to tell. If you are asking the price for the real thing you kinda need the docs to back it up. Particularly on something that is so easily and readily faked.

I have 2 sets of real ACS pedals. I will try to post pics tonight and anyone interested can compare the 2 and make their own decision. IMHO I do not see anything that would lead me to believe they are fake.

Is there a certificate for the shift knob too? I mean, if I'm going to try and get re-prints from Germany, I should go all the way.

I'm suprised not too many people haven't brought up the shift knob.. Does everyone agree that it is genuine?

I don't think I've seen the shift knob replicas before. Just for the pedals
