Would it make the trip back to NJ? Mileage? Any idea what the idle problem is? Did the airbag go off or is that something draped over the steering wheel?

It would make it back to NJ but honestly I would tow it unless you're planning on putting a windsheild in. I'm not quite sure what the idle problem is....it just does it when the engine is cold. It has a new ICV, and I don't really feel like taking the time to further diagnose the problem. The engine probably has about 75-100k on a rebuild. It has great compression on all cylinders and doesn't leak a drop of anything. Chassis has about 300k. That is a shirt draped over the wheel... '89's were non airbag cars.Comment

moving back to colorado. the m5 is staying, it will be running soon :D and i'm putting the engine back in my 318 tonight after a basically full rebuild besides the bottom end so it should be fun. i hope the lightweight flywheel improves the acceleration like i've heard it does though....
There is a windsheild it's just cracked and i wouldn't suggest driving it the way it is. Ehhh... I don't really know about bus or amtrak around here. It's kinda in the boonies.Comment
