I am parting out my 1998 328i w/79k. I originally wanted to swap the M52 into an E30 but I don't have time or the rescources for it at the moment

I have available for an E30 swap, the engine, brake upgrade, suspension for the 5 lug conversions etc, steering rack, exhaust all in excellent condition...

I'm located 20 minutes north for those who want to see things in person.

What does 900 include for the motor? You have compression numbers? Why is the 328i getting parted out? ECU comes with it? Engine harness comes with it? What trans?

It the motor complete? IE nothing has been taken off like alternator/belts/pulleys/etc?

Story of the car
Owner of the car had to leave the country. Wife says he will not be returning and a friend offers to buy the car... she accepts the offer ($1000). My friend knows I like BMW's and lets me in on the deal... I say hey, i can put all those parts in my E30 (Sport seats, steering rack and most importantly the engine... which was worth it alone for a car in this good of condition. I take the engine steering rack and seats out and decide to go a different route with the car. Now I have a perfectly tit engine sitting in my garage.

$900 takes all.

The steering rack I paid for via paypal months ago. I would really like the steering rack since I am using it on my swap. Let me know via PM or email. This has been going on way too long and now you are stating that you have a 79,000 mile old steering rack and this is what I paid for after deal was worked on bimmerforums.


Hopefully we can work this out. Bought and sold so much on the forums and never had an issue to this point.
