The lights come without connectors but you can get plug'n'play connectors for 25$-30$ or built your own ...

will the triangle e36 wheel fit an e30 directly or does it need an adapter. Also I don't know about the e36 wheels much, why is that one more expensive than the tech2?

No - it will not fit the e30. You'll need an adapter from 17mm to 22mm diameter. It's more expensive because it has an airbag.
