The Mesa chip probably isn't as good as the Turner as it is an older design. On the other hand the Turner eta chip could be old too and from the 1980's. Plus, I understand that Jim Conforti made chips available to many shops that put their labels on them. Like a private label deal so that they didn't have to write the data codes for their own. The Mesa could be one of those companies.
