I was actually the original owner of those mirrors. You can see the part that needed repairing on the right mirror in the first pic. See the silver mounting bolt? Now do you see that gray line that starts near that bolt and moves up the mounting surface of the mirror? That was the damaged part. I didnt even notice it until i took the mirrors off my car. It was nothing major at the time, and didnt even affect anything to the functionality of the mirror nor the looks really. I can imagine it looks better now that it has been fixed.
