    Parting 325is in Baltimore

I've got a 325is with ~250K miles that's rusted beyond safe operation. It's gold w/ black interior. I am using the rear suspension and subframe for another project:

    http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,326460/

While the tub is useless, there are a lot of usable pieces left on this car, as it was a daily driver until a cracked windshield failed safety inspection in NJ. The pieces left are:

1 - Engine & 5-speed are running perfectly. You could hear it run, but I tore the oil cooler off when I loaded it yesterday, so I'm not starting it again (it was still pumping oil when I killed the motor, so it never ran dry).

2 - Suspension pieces: front uprights, brakes, hubs, steering rack, rear springs

3 - All the glass except the windshield.

4 - The hood and trunk-lid are usable. No other metal survived the NJ salt.
5 - Pair of re-coverable front seats; the covers are not restorable, but perfectly usable.

6 - Dash is complete and intact except for a single crack in the dish on the passenger side.

7 - It's got an E30 M3 steering wheel, but the more I think about it, the better it would look in my 02. Talk me out of it if you can.

8 - Signal lenses, trim, etc.

9 - Four bottle caps with almost zero rash and (very) bad mismatched tires

10 - Bonus: I also have an extra steering column from an E21 and an army of 2002 parts if you need some

Here's the rub: it's about 60 miles from my house. I can't run up to take new pictures, etc., and I've probably got a week or two tops before they start charging me storage, at which point what's left goes to the recycler. Contact me directly at noah_teates@hotmail.com to work out any deals.

Hint: prices will be *much* lower for people willing to drive to Baltimore and pull the parts themselves. 8^)

Also: I am still interested in trades for a 2002 or E21 rolling shell if you're interested in any kind of trade.

    Thanks for looking,

    Noah

Bump: I've had a few inquiries on the whole car, but if nobody closes in the next day or two, I'm pulling the driveline over the weekend to start selling the pieces.

    Thanks for looking,

    Noah
