Heya MJG. I'm curious about the keyway groove, because as of what I've read over at the zone, the specs they have for the crankring don't call for the groove. What's the reason for it in your rings. Can that be a source of oil leak? Great product and if I like, I'll be getting one of these.

The keyway is for the key that's on the crank, as far as I am aware, without this you'd have to run with no key so your crank pulley wouldn't turn. I'll check with Gunni for the correct answer though, thanks.

Payment received from Danny, that's one sold. Another's gone from e30tech so got 3 left in this batch.

      Cheers,

      Mike.

That sounds really tasty. Valve clearances okay with a decent sized cam and the i pistons?

                    I reccomend this guys.
I used this to build a budget 2.8 using a M52B28 crank , 130mm rods and 325i pistons and a TDC Stage II turbo.

This is the gap needing filling.

Doesn't that combo result in about a 9.7:1 comp ratio? That's my plan. How did it run before you added the turbo?

                          I calculated 9.16:1 compression ratio.

                          I never ran without turbo.
With turbo it ran amazingly well. I also had a thicker steel gasket so my compression ratio was 8:1

Thanks for that Gunni, can you clarify the use of the slot please?

E30 sdw and qbuilt, you guys have PM and have dibs on the last two of this batch.

Apologies for those who have paid, we are having various postal strikes in the UK so I have waited for them to clear up. I have three to send out tomorrow and then e30 sdw and qbuilt's to send when they've paid.

That is all of this batch gone.

Once I have received positive feedback from you guys, I will get another batch made up. Want to make sure the spacer caters for all engines/combinations before I invest in getting some more made.

                                Cheers!
