Modified Strut Tubes and Houndstooth Door Panels

    BOTH ITEMS SOLD SOLD SOLD

For sale is a set of 4 lug shortened and modified strut tubes. These were shortened for use with the Koni short body single adjustable struts. These already have the m3 style sway bar link attachment welded on as well as the metal ring to hold all types of sleeves. Bearings are in good shape, buy these instead of having to send your in to Ground Control, etc for welding.

    Price: $225 obo

Also for sale is a set of Houndstooth door panels for a coupe. No rips or tears, just a bit dusty.

    Price: $115 obo

I can ship both of these items but it won't be cheap as they are either larger or heavier than most items shipped. Local pick up is preferred.

How much were the tubes shortened? I've got the shorter konis and have been meaning to send off my tubes to have modified but dont want to take the car off the road.

Any idea how much I would be looking at for shipping to 22801?

    thanks,
    Nick

Very interested in the shortened housings. Approx mileage on housings? How much are they shortened? Essentially ready to drop in the GC E30 coilover system?

PM me if they are still available. Thanks!

I have to measure the exact length of the tubes, I won't have that until I can measure them tomorrow.

I did, however set these up with short body konis, GC sleeves, and springs and all you will need is the threaded collar that holds the strut in the strut housing. So these are ready to go, just need to purchase the struts/sleeves/adjusters/springs/camber plates associated with a coilover set up.

So they were shortened to use with GC's shortened konis?

Rather than speculate, I will measure them today and post up what I find.

Measured these up and they are roughly 1.5-1.75 inches shorter than the regular strut tubes. I am trying to locate the length of the shortened konis for comparison.

Koni's pdf page should have the dimensions.
