FS: Cross Brace - Brooklyn, NY $275 SHIPPED

    Hey guys,

Selling my Race Skids Cross Brace, bought it back in August, and its in mint condition. Removing it because it doesn't work very well with THR lolli-pops, the brace comes very close to the control arm and sometimes rubs ever so slightly on it. This causes vibration and its annoying the crap out of me, I have no choice b/c I'm 24v and the exhaust was bent to clear the lolli-pops...I'd rock M3 bushings otherwise.

    **SOLD**

    Thanks!

the control arm rubs against the brace sadly :(

you wouldnt happen to have any pics of where it rubbed would you? im also sitting on THR lollipops but mine are custom drilled to sit closer to the frame rail (im on e36 5lug..custom drilled cabs + e36 m3 arms= good caster). i was planning on getting one of these braces..darn

actually, i don't have a pic but i will borrow hoveringuy's to show where it did rub.

you can see that with an e30 m3 offset bushing its close, you can imagine how much closer it pushes the control arm with the eyeball bushings.

I will work on this. There are a few guys in town running the Eyeballs.

Could you space the brace down a little?

hey man, I tried spacing but I'm not comfortable with the way it brings the brace down. I feel like the bolts are going to be seeing a lot more stress.

thanks for the pic! im sure mine would rub as my eyeball arms are around 6mm closer to the frame than standard eyeball arms!! the control arm pretty much sits at the frame rail.

if you change the design to fit with the eyeball arms and no spacers, keep us posted. i was planning on picking up your brace once my cage/interior are finished so ill be watching..

aren't the thr mounts built to e30 m3 mount spec though. the control arm should be in the same spot on both, are you sure one of yours isn't bent?
