Im sitting on too many seats in my garage..no pun intended!!!


I have a pr of blk Recaro LS seats.....a real vintage hard to find seat. This was the most aggressive seat recaro had back in the day that were not "race" seats. I had owned a seat during grad school and they are truly wonderful. I may regret this.....

better than e30 iS sport seats....better than e21 recaros.......about as good/better as newer Recaro SPEED /SRD seats. I dont think any "street" 2 pc seat has better bolstering than this LS model....and I sold all this stuff 25 yrs ago while getting thru grad school.....Scheel..........Konig...Recaro..Corbeau .... etc.....

Knobs for shoulder blade adjustment are cracked....it was a BS adjustment...knobs may be easy to find similiar repl'mts... or pull knobs and saw off adjustment rod.....

Some stitches loose by some attachments...minimal......

totally useable as is.........!!!

..these are AFTERMARKET models.....they never came this way on a car...as far as I know.

Any pics of the uber rare e 30 seats you speak of..never heard 'bout those.



re my swap.....not done yet.....life got in the way. Maybe this winter.

re weight.....dont know exact..but I would say lighter than oe non sport seat for sure.

no such thing. I think you might mean E21 recaros, but then you'd be wrong. They are aftermarket seats.

I know that dan "m42tecknik" has e30 recaros in houndstooth. I have seen them in person. Very cool seats. These are simalar.

2002s did have a very rare sport seat option!!!!...very much like the sport seat in early 911s...now those are uber rare...and $$$$$


but as maniac said.......these were an aftermaket item.
