You should cover your floor before you worry about A-pillars, and model the shift boot in a way that it doesn't show gobs of extra fabric and thread hanging off it in a broken console.

This is easy to do, but there is always people that are too busy/lazy/intimidated by doing anything themselves, that would pay to have it done by some one else. They will only pay though if the work is and looks quality. Just my 2 cents.
