Seeing as 6 speeds top gear is lower than the G260, no. Maybe if it were a double-overdrive T56 type of deal, but BMW likes .8x:1 6th gears and pairs them with numerically lower rear ends.

I have on in my 318is right now. I'm at 3700RPMs at 75mph. It's really not that much difference from the stock 4.10LSD.
