FS: E30 '84-'88 Kamei Skirts and Rear Apron

    ***SOLD***

I bought these off a guy on CL and unfortunately was a bit naive
when I picked them up and didn't realize they wouldn't fit my '89 E30. Personally I'm not a fan of the side skirts at all and never planned on putting them on but the were part of a packaged deal.

    What is it:
    - Kamei side skirts (from what research tells me...) and rear apron for the EARLY model (i.e. diving boards) E30's. Sideskirts I think will fit all years but the rear apron is too short on the sides and is made to bolt to the early models.

    What is included:
    - Rear 3-piece apron
    - Two side skirts
    - All hardware

    Color:
    - It looks pretty close to my Zinno but could be one of the other shades.

    Condition:
    - Pretty decent. With a little work they would look GREAT.
    - Paint is decent
    - A couple scratches and small cracks (see pictures)
    - One skirt has the end broken off. It can be epoxied back into place though easily
    - The skirts do have some glue and material on the backside. 90% of this can be be removed.
    - Small cracks at tow hook (not noticeable when on the car), on the pass siderear valance (see pic), small part missing on same piece (can't be seen though when installed)
    - Some over spray paint at opening for exhaust. Looks like somebody tried to paint the tips and got it on the valance

    Price:
    - I'd like to get $150 + shipping for EVERYTHING. Shoot me a PM if you are interested. I'd also be willing to trade for a late model skirt, some interior bits and misc. other pieces. Just let me know what you have!

I DID NOT clean either the skirts or rear apron so they are VERY dirty, I only sprayed some detailing solution on them and wiped them down. With a little time they should shine up great! I will post clean pics when I get a chance.

Are you willing to sell just the rear apron?

I would prefer to keep them together for now but you're more than welcome to put an offer out there.

What does the rear apron attach to, and how?

Two screws on the ends in the wheel well and screws on the under/inside of the rear bumper (you'll need to pull the bumper it looks like to properly install).

I looks like auto body glue and double sided tape were used on the length of the skirts to keep them in place.

The side pieces are attached to the center peice by rivets? Is that the way they were meant to be joined or is there a better/proper way to attach them so that you cannot see the joint?

They're not rivets but small nuts and bolts. I believe that is how htey were meant to be tied together but I can't find any material on them anywhere. It doesn't look bad at all and is actually prety sturdy. If you want it more "seamless" I'm sure you could bond it together...

To be honest I have no idea. I would think so. Maybe somebody who knows more about verts can chime in?

Also it is OBO so please feel free to make me an offer. I just put it up there for what I felt was fair but that is for you guys to determine ;)
