I need to pull the trigger on these..

When you re-seal the headlight, the DIY says to use "Automotive GOOP". I have some, but it is black. Is that ok? Or do I need to use clear? I feel like Black would show through..

Think I read somewhere that it's better to use clear silicone b/c if you squirt too much black goop it spreads under the lense and is an eyesore
