Matt-B is a great seller and has good products.

    However!

He does not offer genuine leather, etc, etc... just a different product.

to tell the truth i had leather and i dont like it the shifter took weeks to brake in and the e-brake boot never did matt-b i think chose the right path with cloth boots they do look better and leather really is only in black and brown im not sayin i dont like what hes got here but i would prefer cloth. its all about personal preference.

You have to get fairly soft/supple leather. Not saddle or tool bag leather. Most of my interior is moving towards black leather. Steering wheel, shift knob (1 piece illuminated knob/boot), cup holders and hopefully an e-brake boot/handle from EMC once he gets his supply in.

I'm also going through with some spare interior pieces (shift console/e-brake console/door pulls/map pockets) and trying to make patterns to leather wrap those.

Cloth is cool, but leather, if done right, is just classic goodness.

Back on topic, let me know, EMC when everything is ready. I'll send money out whenever.

Can these be made in different color leather? Like say... Grey leather w/ grey stitching?

I'm sorry for the late reply's everyone. I was without a real computer for a few days and replying on a Blackberry without a constant signal is frustrating.

There is no extra charge for perforated leather. The boots would still be $20 each. Example: black leather shift boot = $20. black leather ebrake boot with perforated insert = $20.

There is a $2 extra charge per boot for a single thread color. So, if you want red stitching or whatever, that's $2 extra per boot. If you want black stitching on the black leather, there is no extra charge. It takes time to swap the machine over from black thread or tan thread to another color to do the "French" top stitch. The thread is swapped back and forth a couple times and a standard boot. It's takes a lot of work and skill to make these and after material cost, it works out to around $8~$10 an hour. That's no joke.

Tri-color motorsport stitching will be $8 extra per boot. Those have two different top stitches done on the machine and then the center stitch is done entirely by hand. The thread is swapped about 4 or 5 times on the machine for a boot with tri-color stitching. There's just no way to get around it.

I bought a couple hand brake boot frames and a hand brake handle yesterday, so we will be able to make some ebrake boots and shift boots, etc this weekend. It won't be until Saturday or Sunday that I will have good pictures of E30 parts, but we are going to dedicate this coming weekend to getting several E30 pieces made so everyone can see what they can get.

Here's a few examples to summarize:

E30 Leather Boot with black thread = $20

E30 Leather boot with perforated inserts and black thread = $20

E30 Leather boot with single color top stitch = $22

E30 Leather boot with 2 color top stitch = $24

                  E30 Leather boot with Tri-color Motorsport stitching = $28

Shipping is a flat $5 for USPS Priority Mail.

                  Take Care,
                  Eric

                      Hi Eric,
Is that $56 for the tri colour set? Shift boot and Break cover? If so I will get a set.
