    FS: m42 engine $400 obo Virginia Beach +5 sp trans

    BMW 4 cylinder m42 engine. Fits 3 series from 1990+ I believe, as well as early model e36's. Good swap candidate for bmw 2002, e21, early model e30s, or replacement for late model e30s and early model e36's. 170,000 miles. Recent headgasket, headbolts, intake gaskets, upper timing cover gaskets, etc. Comes with intake and exhaust manifolds, throttle body, alternator, power steering pump, ac compressor, dme. Ran great when pulled from car (yesterday). Looking for $400 or best offer. 5 speed transmission also available for an additional $150. Will deliver within the area for a small fee

                      so whats going in place of this m42, I had my buddy IM you cause I wasnt cleared to post yet so I was going to put a S50 motor in this e30 because I bought it with a blown motor. But my green has been going to my vw gti, cause Im trying to make 700 whp...
                      So if I can get your motor I can at least resale this thing or keep it and be mobile at the same time...

                          the person who IMed me and then had to sign off immediately? He didn't say much other than that.

                          Motor is still up for grabs. have 4 or so people who sound seriously interested, but noone's made plans to come get it yet. So whoever comes and buys it, gets it.

                                  not yet, still need a pilot bearing. but i have a euro s50 in my touring and my business partner has an american s50 in his coupe if you'd just like to check one of those out
