    Pre-wired OBD1 Vanos swap harnesses

The Castros have 3 OBD1 e36 325i Vanos swap harnesses, that we can pre-wire/modify for any e30 24v swap.

Cost for each harness alone = $100 + shipping

Cost for a harness, with used, working sensors (MAF and O2 are extra) = $200 + shipping

    Cost for a pre-wired harness (no unsightly adapters) = $250 + shipping

Cost for a pre-wired harness, with used, working sensors (MAF and O2 are extra) = $350 + shipping

So this is basically an e36 engine harness that is re-wired so that you don't have to run an adapter to hook it up to the e30 body side?

Correct. We are selling the harnesses as is for $100, but we're offering to modify them for the buyer to be plug and play for a swap.

what do you mean pre wired?

im about to drop an S52 into my 90 e30 and need to convert it to OBDI so i need an OBD1 harness. i planned on either getting that adapter harness for 150 from some vendor on here that connects the e36 harness to the e30 body harness or digging through wiring diagrams to manually wire it.

i have all of the OBD1 sensors already so which harness from you woudl i need?

what is the difference between the 1st plain 100 dollar harness and the 3rd one that says prewired? what is it prewired for?

basically its the harness you need and the adapter all rolled into one,
and before this turns in to a adapter vs no adapter fight I have to say this is hell of a good deal

ah i got ya, so really for someone like me who has no engine harness and no adapter but needs both, there really is no cost savings for me here.

its either pay 100 dollars for the harness plus an additional 150 for the adapter harness (250 total) or pay 250 dollars for a modified harness thats pretty much the same thing

It accomplishes the same goal, but the modified harness will look much cleaner when installed.

what he said. The adapters work just fine but its the sight of them that most people dont like. With the harnesses that Chris has, it is like a stock wiring harness as far as looks and performance. So if I had a choice on adapter or prewired plug-n-play, I would choose prewired because I hate eye sores like adapters and wires all over the place. And yes this is a very good deal.

I can vouch for these. The guy who makes them does amazing work so I would have no problem buying one from him. But the m20 has a 300hp future so I have no need for one:twisted:
