I hear ya on not wanting to see someone else driving it, but I do think you could sell it to someone as fanatical as yourself far away.
Parting it out seems like a painful end to such a kickin car.
I have to ask (though Im sure you wont feel the need to answer). How much you have into this thing? :)

For your question, I try not to think about those things anymore, because they tend to drag me down mentally.

Too much is the one and only answer I'll give. The one positive out of all this(the past), is that I'm an individual who will never have to worry about a mid life crisis that is for sure. ;) Got everything out of my system in my early 20's, the E30 being one of them. Now I can move on....well kind of.

To some of the rest, I still haven't committed to selling anything yet. I'll keep some of you posted if and when I do. I appreciate any kind words, advice, and of course all the interest!

You know, in all honesty, if there was ONE part that I would not really want to sell to you at any significant price, only because I consider the condition of it to be subpar(it has a hairline crack due to a porcupine hit a few years back), it would have to be that spoiler. Hell, if I was to sell it, I'd probably let it go for $100.

Im interested in all the alpina parts. And when I say ALL i mean ALL OF THEM. I am in the process of building a tribute C2 replica since I can't find one. Already have the engine being built. Sure would be nice to find an Alpina valve cover that was original. It's only rumored that there "was" a factory alpina branded cover out there on the later models. I have only found clones and cheap knock offs. C2 replica FTW baby!
