For those of you wondering if these are too harsh for your daily driver, they are not.
Here are a few reasons why uhmw is better than poly.
• UHMW wont fall apart over time. It is much more durable than poly.
• UHMW doesn't require grease, it is self lubricating, so it will never squeak.
• The Hardness/Durometer of UHMW on the shore "D" scale is 68, just as hard as some of Polyurethane mounts out there.
Installed the trans mounts on my car last weekend and i am very happy with the results. However, i thought the washers could be a bit bigger. Its super noisy in the cabin now so I'm going to switch out the washers with a bigger, metal/rubber washer, in hopes to reduce vibrations. Other than that, i couldn't be happier, they really stiffened up the chassis, and I'm sure they will last the life of the car. Thanks!
