    Feeler: Reproduction Blue Toolkit Cloths

Here's what they look like (not my picture):

They're about 14" square I believe, the edges are nicely finished, and the fabric is a nice semi-fleece, as I understand the originals were.

    $30 shipped to your door

I believe they're NLA from the dealer, or one of those items where they'll send you something different and not period correct. Being a piece of fabric it was one of those things that owners at the time were prone to (understandably) use, abuse, or lose, so finding them isn't too easy these days, much less without oil and dirt stains.

you need to shop the Mye28 boys too...

I will buy one but have 2 OE NIB already...

you're a bit steep for repro but one of my original 7 NIB made it's way to Cali and sold on Ebay for $66 so maybe not....

Thanks for the tip, will do! And added.

As I said, they aren't mine, but have been selling to E24 guys for $40 pretty decently. I figure $7 saved can't hurt anyone, right ;). As you said, OEM has the capability to go pretty high.

As someone that was in the garment industry for a few years I want all of you to know the cost of the materials is under $1.00, way under. Then another $.10 to overlock stitch the edges and $.10 to screen print a Roundel on it. So, this shows how stupid E24 guys are I guess. I thought E30 guys were smarter, but maybe not......

Welcome to the facts of life. Ralph Lauren Polos, North Face Fleeces, Abercrombie jeans, and just about any piece of clothing all cost a mere fraction of their retail prices to produce each item thanks to economies of scale and diminishing marginal cost, but the setup for an initial pattern and other initial investment costs are what cost the most and must be recovered with the retail price. Then the desired profit must be factored in on top of that. I'm offering a product for less than the only other source for these. Your thinly veiled thread defecation was unnecessary and common sense.

It's not always about the money to those who are buying. It might be priced more than it's worth, but who cares. I kinda like it so I signed up for something you don't see in every car. I'll support anybody who is trying to add something of interest to the e30 community.

i'll post up a pic of the tool kit i pulled form the e24.
it has the original bulbs and all the tools along with the spare fuses and a mint towel in it.
I pulled the towel out and said "wtf?" and tossed it back in the kit. I didn't realize it was so rare.
