What were the symptoms that made you think the R&P was bad. I'm currently having a little issue with my steering. The car is spending the night at the shop, having it's PS pump replaced, although my mechanic is trying to talk me into replacing the R&P as well. So if you and I are having the same issues, then I know my R&P is OK, and I made the right move changing out the PS Pump.

My symptoms: Steering acutally feels fine, but when turning wheels left or right (especially at a standstill) my car makes a painful crying noise. Hence the car's name, Chewbacca.

          You?
