Is there any problem running e34/e32 lamp setup on an e30? Would I have to modify anything to get them to work in a late model e30?

Well I think the housings and glasses are nearly the same but the tabs and mounting frames are different. Might be a big problem to fit them into a e30 frame.

You can do it. Just need to drill another whole somewhere on the brackets.
