FS: S50B32 Individual Throttles + Plenum

    Hey guys,

I'm parting down a 70k (kilometers) S50B32 engine that had an issue with the #3 rod on the track. I've got the throttle bodies, runners, plenum, intake boot, idle-air rail, etc. for sale. I thought someone here could make better use of them than I can right now. Of course, these will work great with an S50B32, but I've seen guys on Bf.c install these on their M/S5x engines as well. Not 100% bolt-on (at all) but it's been done. I'd like $750 for this setup OBO. I'll entertain entertaining trades.

    Here are some pictures--

The engine they are coming from:

    Cheers,

Fortunately I wasn't the one to blow it up. I'd hate to have that on my conscience. I can't imagine the emotional baggage that comes with blowing a motor this nice :). Ha, thanks for the bump!

Shoot me an offer, it will do you more good than it will for me. I've always liked your car.. it deserves an intake setup like this :).

I see that the issue with the #3 rod left its mark on the block

Yeah it wiped out everything in it's 360 degrees of rotation. Took out 270 degrees of engine block/cylinder wall, engine mount arms, and oil pan. :D

^^I'll link some when I get back in from work tonight. If you search around on BF.c you can find several and I believe that E36-tech.com probably has a thread or two as well.

Just a warning: the throttle linkage interferes with the VANOS solenoid, and will require modification.

That is all, good luck with sale.

I finally took some time to track down a couple good threads with information on this conversion.

                          Lots of good info:

Good info; primarily on page 2:

I know that there are some other good threads out there. The main one that I have in mind was an E36 guy on Bimmerforums who tackled the conversion on his US M3 and documented everything very well from start to finish. Lots of pictures and info.

Oh, and bump for a R3v price drop to $550 shipped. Can't go much lower, but I'll still say OBO 'cause I know this is R3v.. :)

                          Thanks
