W123 Yellow Highbeams

I've got a set of yellow highbeams that are *almost* plug and play for sealed beams here for sale.




As you can see, it will include all the wiring, boots and even bulbs you need to get it going.

Like I said, I'm very pleased with them. They look good both at night and day and in stock form are not so blinding like normal highbeams so you won't be a dick using them. If you want to be a dick though, there's a thing that can be removed to allow full shine.

If you don't think you're up to doing the wiring yourself, if you're really nice to me, I could make adapters for you.

FYI - the reason they don't blind the other guy is because they are fog lights, not high beams. Look at the fluting on them.

The reason they don't blind is because there is a cap in the housing that blocks the bulb from direct view. The only light that escapes is reflected off of the back of the housing. If that were removed, the center of the light while be direct from the bulb and white in color while the surrounding area would all be yellow, having reflected off the back. That'd increase the overall brightness. Kinda like the difference between 9005 and 9006 bulbs.

In any case, they get inserted into the highbeam slot of E30's. However, they could be inserted into the lowbeams too, afaik.
