no he parts out alot of e30
this is the email he sent me
          Hey guys,

I just meet a guy that I bought some E36 M3 side skirts from.

He is parting out a 1998 M3 with 112,000 miles on it. It was hit on the right quarter panel. Here is what he has to sell

          M3 manual transmission $500

M3 10double spoke wheels and used tires $450 (staggered set, 7.5 and 8.5 5 lug)

Chassis with complete M3 suspension (5 lug wheel and brake swap with M3 steering rack) great E30 up grade …worth $1300+ dollars $600! And you can recycle the metal for $90

S52 engine and wiring harness and ECU (for S52 Vanos swap to E30) $1500

Emran, you said to find a tranny…here it is. It’s a good deal.

          Donnie

Interested in the M3 rack.....still availible? For $600 I may be interested in the whole suspension....is it off of the car?
            Thanks,
            Mike

Just so we're clear, the '96+ E36 M3 steering rack is nothing special; it's identical to the non-M E36 rack.
              paint sucks

but its still better than the 95 e36 m3 rack as the non M rack and 96+ M3 racks were static ratio racks compared to the 95 M3 rack being a variable rack that is known to have issues.

3.2 lock to lock 96 m3 racks isnt bad over the 95 m3 rack 3.0 lock to lock for a static ratio rack.

I doubt the '95 M3 rack is a "variable rack". Anyone got proof?

Or I guess I could measure mine.
