Weird that its glass, my real Alpina spoiler is a heavy ABS plastic made by Metzler. Plus the Alpina script and logo dont look right, should have a kba before the part #. Did you buy this new from Alpina?

Yes, this is authentic Alpina spoiler shipped in directly from Germany. The one that you have is for a newer car. The E30 once were fiber glass.

nope mines from a early model, its actually got a 1985 build date. Did you buy this from Alpina directly? Not trying to shit on your thread but something doesnt look right, even the plaque part and model # dont look right.

Authentic or not looks good but too expensive. You should just install it on your car.

Sorry guys, but you are wrong. This is an authentic Alpina spoiler. The yellow sticker indicates that. I had this spoiler bought directly from Alpina in Germany through my cousin. If you don't believe me call them directly and find out for yourself.

I Agree with seller, this is a genuine Alpina Type 162 spoiler for late 1987 and up e30's with oil cooler, they are fiberglass! Bought mine (exactly the same) from KSK Distributing (Alpina's sole US importer) This is the genuine item , US retail cost is $867.00
