FS: M42 w/ Transmission - Cheap in CA

*EDIT* Tranny is tentatively sold, pending payment. Engine still available for $175.

For sale is the M42 engine that we just pulled out of my brother's 318is. Has roughly 180k miles.

The good: It comes complete with all accessories, wiring harness, sensors, ECU.

The bad: It has a cracked oilpan, so you'll need to replace that. They're not very expensive at all for this motor. One of the sparkplug holes in the head has been repaired using heli-coil over a year ago. No problems with it in the year it has been in there.

$175 takes the entire engine. Looking for a quick sale. Located in San Jose, CA.

:) Yeah, if he would have cleaned up his engine bay today, the motor could have been in right now. Maybe next weekend.

Manual. Unless I'm mistaken all '91 318s are manual.

Tranny is gone. $175 gets the engine.
