I just mounted my wheels yesterday for the first time so they are basically brand spankin' new. I had to drive about 100 miles on them home after getting my alignment from TFB performance at infineon raceway (I have the rear camber/toe adjusters so he was able to do an alignment for all 4 wheels.)
Problem is, this set-up is a little too wide in the front and won't let me slam my car. I have a '95 m3 steering rack, THR FCAB's with extra caster, and the alignment guy gave me even additional caster. So I'm not sure if all this caster is the problem, but basically the front wheels are so wide I can't even make a u-turn without stopping and reversing. This is my DD so that's a big deal. It may not be important for someone wanting to run this set-up on the track, you can turn the steering wheel about 1.5-2 times just fine until they start to make contact.
This is probably a great choice for someone starting out at the track. The tires arn't the best choice for a veteran track attender, but at least they're brand new so they'll be just fine for anyone who's just starting out.
I paid $888 shipped w/ free mounting&balancing from Tire Rack. I'll start my price at $700 local sale OBO. If anyone is interested in having these shipped, we may be able to work it out, but for now local sale preferred.
I'm going back to the alignment guy next week to see if we can do anything about this. If we happen to fix it, the wheels probably will not be for sale anymore. However even if we do fix it there is still the possibility of me wanting to upgrade to a set-up more slam-friendly.
