So I thought my alternator was fucked, but looks like I just didn't have it tightened on fully, but I had already gone out and bought a brand new one to replace it. Anyways, the alternator fits the M42 from the 318is, and is an upgrade from the stock 90amp alt that came from the factory, AKA a good buy if you are running a sound system, or other power related mods. Retails from the dealer at $742, I paid $365 at the little German specialty place I go to in Edmonton. Make me an offer!
