That seems to be more then the cost of an entire e36 parts car. Does it include a manual trans and everything needed to put it in an e30?

Yes, This is engine, trans, harness, shift linkage etc.

Everything but the e34 pan and brake booster.

Daaang, I got an M50 engine, Getrag 250 tranny, E36 manual driveshaft, manual wiring harness, and 413 DME for $525...so $1500 is kinda steep yo! :o

You must have gotten a really good deal yo!

Junkyards still want anywhere from $500-$800 depending on how complete the set up is... and that is a junkyard motor. This thing runs and drives, plus the guy has to pull it out...

Well admittedly, my M50 engine was missing some accessories (power steering pump, alt, throttle body) and some bolts, but
I've sourced all of those parts and the engine is close to being dropped in now. I bought the stuff off a R3V'er in Michigan, and rest of parts from Ebay and Blunttech. I don't care much for junkyards.

m20's go for $300-$600 for a complete motor, I dunno where you think a newer motor that is more desireable is going to get less $

If you are willing to get your hands dirty and pull it yourself, and haul it away, then you can get a better deal.

If you are getting a deal from a member that it a whole other story.

When we buy motors for EVERYDAY cars here at the shop they go for roughly $1k for a complete motor with 60 -100k miles.

Everyone wants something for nothing... its getting quite annoying!

I know what you are saying, but its not so much that people want 'something for nothing'...these are tough times and its a buyer's market.
Your forgetting that alot of people don't even have jobs and what jobs there are available suck. I'm better off than alot of people I know, and I am still finding it very difficult to afford this M50 swap and all the 'while I'm in there' etc. Most people don't have a tree in their yard that shits money...

But yours is drop in ready with a complete turbo kit. So its worth at leat 600. I kid, I kid. If I wanted an m5X swap i'd be all over your setup as I'm spending that much for just my turbo setup. But back on topic, the op listed it high for all you low ballers.

listen i know its a bit high.. but like mike said we put it up for best offer if someone offers us a good price then boom you get it...i mean its pretty low miles and once again you can hear it run...i bought mine knowing that it hadn't been started in 4 years...so i took a little risk...so instead of bashing why doesnt someone post a reasonable price
