    s52 140k

i just bought this engine from another user on here and have now just scrapped my s52 project so its back on the market.

This S52 has around 140k Miles on it. Owner was both a BMW and Porsche enthusiast (owned a sweet 928 race car! and the mintyest m3) all cars received regular maintenance. When the original owner cross threaded a spark plug he opted for a lower mileage motor to get him up and running, while he re-freshened this s52. He never got around too it though!

The leak down numbers are as follows:
    Cylinder #1 5%

Cylinder #2 damaged spark plug threads, after getting it to seal was 3%

    Cylinder #3 2%

    Cylinder #4 5%

    Cylinder #5 4%

    Cylinder #6 4%

As the motor lacks any timing accessories on it, I used a compression detector to determine the start of the compression stroke, then removed it and replace it with a wooden dowel to determine TDC for the cylinder, and then put the leak down tester on the at cylinder and recorded the results.

This is a true long block with no accessories and no sensors. Pull the head and do the valves and attend to spark plug 2 and have a good motor.

Cylinder head was very clean when i swapped back on the OBD2 valve cover.

so original price was 1000 thats how much i want for it. i can have the spark plug hole repaired from a reputable machine shop here for $200 more. i can get whatever work done you want while there at their market price. so u can have the block for 1k the way it is or 1200 repaired and up depending on what you want done to it. im interested in moving this VERY quickly so first reasonable offer with money takes this.

i can also include 24v swap parts. i have a bunchof those as well.

PMs will be responded to within twenty minutes.
