-=SOLD=- I bought this a couple of years ago to go behind my M20, yup it will work with an M20. Of course it's what everyone wants for their twin cam conversion. If you have been watching my "for sale" listing this week you know I am not finishing that project now. It's very clean and I felt it would be good for my own car. I won't bullshit you, I don't know the mileage. Junkyard cars with electronic odometers have mystery mileage. The wreck was very clean and well taken care of. Jean helped me pull it that day. Again, I have been sitting on it for my own use.
The ratios are 4.20, 2.49, 1.66, 1.24, 1.00. This is a semi-close ratio trans. First is low, but the others are spaced close to each other. These are pretty bullet-proof transmissions and were used in the E36 328 & M3 and the E34 525i
It comes with a new large Giubo and pilot bearing. Plus the TO fork, slave cylinder, shift console pin, and shifter joint are included. The shifter joint is tight and that is a good sign this is a low mileage tranny. It also comes with the E30 crossmember and new Urethane trans mounts.
The driveshaft is from a 1986 325es and it is the one with the large Giubo that matches this trans. According to the paper sticker it is a replacement driveshaft and it's in excellent condition.
I have looked to see what these are selling for and with the extras I think $550 + shipping is a very fair price.
