Do you know what bubble wrap cost? Do you know what tape cost?
Go to your local lowes/home depot and look at the cost of this stuff.
Just in packing materials alone your looking at 35-40.00
Maybe you dont realize that shipping companys changed the way they charge for shipping items now. So pretty much everything is double the cost.
I think my shipping is more than fair. I let it go for what it went for, Im not mad about it since I paid less than 20.00 for it at a local pick and pull.

No joke. I was shipping stuff pretty frequently a year ago, prices were reasonable. Just shipped something out yesterday and didn't pay attention to the price until I was home... WTF.

Don't have an aneurysm...I manage a 40k sq ft pick/ship warehouse, so I just might know a bit on the subject. If you're buying your materials at home depot then it probably would cost you an arm and a leg... They charge $20 for $2 worth of bubble wrap. Nice markup.
Some advice...If you are going to do a lot of shipping, buy some materials from U-line, or even a local wholesale box company. If you did, it would never cost more than $10 in materials to safely ship a moonroof.
Congrats you're happy with the deal, that's what matters.

See, we dont have places around here like this. So its either buy your supplys at Lowes, wal-mart or use what you have laying around. Which most of the time is nothing.
If you know of a place online to buy materials, then please let me know.
