I have a 4.10 large case LSD that originally came off an automatic 325is. Diff has approx 180k miles. Most likely needs a fluid flush.

if its out of a 325, it is a medium case btw large cases were for M5's and the sort

Did any E30 come with a large case diff ? What about the M3?

no. m3's used the medium case normally with a 4.10 ratio.

A '92 325is is an e36, so no it won't fit in the e30.

And e36's use medium cases too, except for euro m3's :) Cases aren't interchangable with E30 but ring gears are same size.

Damn, I was under the impression that they were interchangeable.. Silly me.
