i recently purchased a 104,000 mile 88 cabrio for the purpose of doing an s52 swap. the engine has already been sold. i still have a really nice 4 speed automatic that i am not going to use. i think the designation is 4hp22? it is complete and includes the lines that go to the radiator, torque converter, flex plate and associated bolts.
i drove the car from michigan to houston(about 1300 miles) and it shifted very smooth. it is hard to feel the shift points. when put in gear it has a nice smooth immediate pull. no slipping. the fluid was in really nice shape and had a nice feel and smell to it. i guarantee it to be in good condition. asking 165.00
i am willing to ship but i would a local sale would get preference. if the buyer needs this item shipped, i get a huge discount with aaa cooper(like 40% off or so depending on circumstances). i can strap it to a pallet, and shrink wrap it. you can pick them up at your local freight office or have it delivered to a commercial address at no extra charge
