Ok, so I was going to give this motor to a friend of mine, but he just informed me that his car was in an accident and he doesn't know what will happen from there. I need this motor gone, so I am putting it up here!
It is an m20 from a 1989 325is that had about 200k on it. The previous owner of the car attempted to adjust the valves and I believe he really messed up the adjustment. When the motor ran it sounded like the valves were clacking x10. I removed the motor from the car because I am doing a 24v swap and have no use for it.
The motor comes with pretty much the head, valve cover, block, flywheel, clutch, etc. No intake manifold, or injectors or anything like that.
I do not want to ship, it is not worth the hassle, and I do not have time. I would like to get this gone ASAP.
Once again, the motor is FREE.
I am located in Carpinteria, CA 93013 (about 10 miles south of Santa Barbara)
