anyways, i do have a 260 but it is from a sheet metal trans tunneled e30. This means it does not have the 2 triangles in the rear housing to mount the shift arm. I will have to look up a picture. I also do not have clutch items or flywheel. The head is off, as is the oil pan. I havent put the head on because i only have a MLS gasket for it and i have been reluctant to continue the build in a turbo fashion since my money started disappearing.

"ethrtyiS" send me an email with any other question or is you want to come by or whatever. coolasacuc@gmail.com
      haha well thanks.

and what i meant was, what else is needed to be able to bolt right up to my 260. im interested, but im not sure whats needed with these swaps.

        ooohhh.
Well the bolt pattern is the same on the m20 block as the m5X/s5X. THe trans will mate properly without modification. Once mounted and in car, you will need trans brace designed for the swap. The new trans position will be rotated a few degrees from the original position. There are a couple guys on here that sell them all the time for under $200. Just search 24v trans brace/mount.

also, since the e trans (usually)has the large style guibo, you will likely need a matching driveshaft or replace the ds flange on the back of the trans.
