I bought this seat to use in my BMW E30 project, but decided to go with the BMW sport interior instead. More information about this seat can be found here: http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hell...uch08.2005.pdf
This is a rare driver's side seat that it was made for commercial users like taxi and truck drivers. What that means for you is that the seat has less bolstering in the seat bottom. This makes it super comfortable for bigger guys. I am 6'2" and 275 pound and the seat fits very well. It is not nearly as confining as the SE model. It is covered in gray cloth with a black headrest. The seat bottom is powered for height. The rest of the functions are manual and include fore and aft, rake and thigh support. The seat is in very good condition with the exception of a half in slit in the vinyl covering on the back of the seat, it should be easy to fix with a Permex vinyl repair kit, a small scuff mark above the slit, and the black plastic switch panel has a couple of small cracks. I have not hooked the seat to power so I cannot personally verify that the power functions work. The person who I bought the seat from said they did.
The seat includes a RECARO slider mechanism and mounting bolts, but you will need to get adapters to fit the seat to your car.
$50 pickup only in St. Paul, Minnesota.
