there are lots of parts on e30 m3's that are common to a standard models.

Yes, it looks the same and I'm looking into that but the rack is most definitely different. Want to grab the part number for the swivel on your car and compare them if you're so handy there, chiefsmoke? Because you know as well as I do that RealOEM drawings don't mean shit...

ok everyone needs to calm down. to sell a part you need pics first, than part numbers. than you wont be fighting with anyone, there wont be thread craping, and last of all you will sell your part. pics on the internet 60% of the time are not the real part. just call up the dealer and have them email you the pics i do it all the time when i need something from there just to make sure its the right part. but what you guys are doing is craping this thread thats not yours. pm him and than you will get what you need. if you dont want to buy this part dont post.

ok, so...i simply asked an honest question to a subject above that i didn't know the answer to. there is nothing in any of my posts that would indicate that this gentleman's part is or is not worth what he is asking for it. i simply assumed the seller or someone with more experience than i would have a quick answer to my question. that makes me a retard? well so be it. i apologize to the seller if that question in some way damages his deal. my issue is not with the seller however. i have a serious problem when people have to add in their worthless simply because they think they are comedians or have some Napoleonic need to increase the number of posts. there is a lot of good information to be learned here on this forum and that is why i use it. its unfortunate we have to endure this sort of crap. it gets old. i will certainly admit i got carried away berating said member and i once again apologize. however, fiddle007, lets be honest...with that post above, you are right there "squishing on the banana" with us.

shit, i guess i will just go out in my parts yard and look an my own m3 to answer my question. who knew it would be this hard?

ps: i have 728 posts and have been on this forum since sept 08. if you go through and look at my posts, a majority of them are paragraphs of information detailing my experience with these cars. i actually make a serious effort to give something back. that makes me a noob? ok, so be it also. on the other hand, the other "retard" in question has been a member here for about 8 months and has now over 900 posts. go back and take a look at his 10 words or less posts and see how much value they are to the community. i have no personal issue with you fiddle, but you yourself have thousands of posts. some of yours are valuable, but just because you have made a lot of entries here, doesn't make you any better than the rest of us.
