is it just a bent tie rod? or does it seem that there may also be damage to the rest of the rack? Thanks.

Haven't climbed under the hood to find out. Just know that there was a bent tie rod and would be concerned that the rest would be damaged.

If it looks straight and you are still interested with previously knowing the damage, I can sell it fairly cheap.
