My buddy is selling a complete 1JZ GTE motor & tranny out of one of our race cars. Yes, it would bastardize your E30, but it would be a lot of fun... until you snapped an axle:)
Here are the details:
1JZ GTE (single turbo) VVTi engine assembly, it is currently installed in a 1987 Supra MKIII. Complete "turn key" Engine/ Transmission/ Haltech Sport 1000 Fuel System ECU w/ harness, boost solenoid, and sensors installed. Everything you need to install this will come with it, including: Radiator, intercooler, rear sump oil pan, wiring, hoses & intake ducts, new 650cc injectors (installed) new timing belt, new clutch & components, all software & manuals for The Haltech system. The engine is a JDM motor with approx. 40K on it. It runs smooth and produces incredible power.
The transmission is a R154, shifts smooth & crisp, no noise. Can include the driveshaft. Engine fuel & spark management is handled by a Haltech Sport 1000 ECU w/ boost solenoid. This unit is about 6 months old, and is very easy to tune/ modify. $3800 OBO
