usually I don't like to get in the middle of sale threads, but that is def. NOT an orig. Alpina cluster. those are just stickers on a 4 cyl car dash, with orange needles-- and WOW, up to 400 dollars on ebay.
the orig. clusters were printed on the piece itself, not a sticker.

the redline is also in the wrong place too.

i am a man of principle, so in all honesty, i can't say for 100% certainty that this is for a fact a certified original alpina cluster but i truly believe it to be so. as far as the type of cluster it is or was originally, alpina made many variations some with orange needles and some with white. some didn't even say alpina on them anywhere but had orange needles. a couple of years ago, i did a search on the alpina registry web site and i found a couple of cars that had exactly this cluster and, yes, they had stickers for the alpina logo. there can be little to no question that the needles on my cluster were painted orange at the factory. it is even obvious that the fuel economy gauge was painted orange at the factory. needles were never available to buy separately, so how do you explain that mr. guru? what is it exactly that makes you such an authority anyway?

i'm pretty sure i have a LOT more alpina parts in my garage than you have ever even seen in your lifetime.

anyway, thank you for shitting on my thread and questioning my integrity all in one paragraph. opinions are like assholes.....i will be sure to return the favor sometime, toolshed.

alpina never made a 4 cyl. with that low of a redline you ass hat!
and, I doubt very highly you are the Alpina authority. I have probably sold as well as thrown away more Alpina crap than you have in your garage.
BTW, orange needles are not hard to find in germany.

I am no authority at all, and in the end, you ripped someone off and its gone, so no need to discuss it anymore.

ohh btw, i used to own a C1 2.3 RHD car.
