H&R coil-overs, custom valved, with camber plates

    SOLD

I have a set of H&R coil-overs that have been custom valved up for sale.

This set includes Ground Control Camber plates, 457 lb H&R front springs, 20 n/mm front tender springs, 650 lb Eibach rear springs, Ground Control rear adjuster, new wheel bearings ($240 value), and custom valved inserts.

The set has one track season and under 5k miles since the rebuild. The wheel bearings have two track days and a couple hundred miles on them.

There is one problem: the Ground Control spring hats creak. I'm told on good authority that it is the needle bearings in the spring hats. If you don't mind the creak, it won't hurt anything, but you'll need to replace the needle bearings at $25 per bearing to fix it. I've cleaned and re-greased them several times to no avail. They look perfect, but apparently they're not.

More pictures can be seen here http://picasaweb.google.com/kuzimmer/HRCoilOvers# along with the rebuild invoice.

I don't really know what these are worth. I was hoping to get $1300 plus shipping.

Did you swap new suspension on, or are you parting it out?

I put an AST suspension on about a year ago, but just got around to trying to sell this.

Not very good ones. I only ran them about 1.5" lower than stock. Here are the pics I have. I may have more somewhere...

The car has 225/45-15s on it. It looks better with 225/50-15s, but I like how the 45s handle...

Thanks and back at ya! Your M looks very nice. I always wanted one, but hesitated because I didn't want to beat one up at the track. That and the cost of an S14 going South.
