How does the overlay attach?

Can these ring be mirror polished to look like the Z3 Mcoupe ones? If so I'll take at least 2, possibly 3 at the $35 shipped price.

I'm assuming they can be if they are alluminum. I'm planning on trying it out.

How do you guys get the smaller rings in properly? Mine arent flushed although i've pressed the hell out of them to try and get in there. ANyone else face this?

gently file the opening not the rings, not too much, it will pop in.
