Yes, it's a problem. It's not fair to others that have stuff for sale and their stuff gets pushed back and back. If it's on the 1st or 2ed page. People will see the item just fine without it getting bumped 3 times in one day.

I've only bumped it twice..and there's probably a 16 hour period in between those bumps.
