Ive been asked for that many times, but I don't have a car to test it on and I am concerned about fitment with the thermostat mounting. :/

I am sure that there is some one who has an m20 car in San D that will let you test it. Maybe you could give them a discount on the part for offering you the test engine.
I am sure that if you put a thread up some where along these lines "m20 needed to test part, owner will receive discount" you would get a few offers.

but at that point I'm $400 in. Not worth the risk at this point.

Yeah, plus $8 for shipping. But you're in HI right?
I wonder if USPS flat rate works to HI?

Flat rate is good for Hawaii.

                              $120 total then?

                              EDIT: ok, paypal sent
