Bump because it's an awesome idea.

Is there a way you could possibly cut the console and make it flush with the cupholder? in other words make it look like one piece and not a brick? That would be sickkkk.

I guess someone could cut theirs if they wanted to mod it.

I make these so the regular person who doesn't want to start hacking their console up can use them.

It's not anymore square then the husco armrest that the dealer used to sell as an option.

I did this, but only because this guy had not developed this new one yet. Not at all "easy" though, takes an experienced hand to cut accurately.

              Nicely done.
Is it possible to add a top armrest? Possibly a padded plate hinged to the back of the new cup holder? Consider ways to fasten it to the old console to hold it in place.

I am currently looking into it I have to fit it in an e30 to see if the height is enough to make it even usable as a armrest. You're the 2nd person to ask about it.

That looks really good. I've been thinking of ways to do that without destroying my center console but sadly I don't have the confidense to make it look that nice. Great stuff gadgetguy. Glws!

^^that's luke's work --- not gadgetguy's product that's fs here. That reminds me though I bought some vinyl trim to wrap that cupholder that I need to install.

Would these work on cassette storage consoles? I think the opening may be a bit wider.

If you could give me the width measurement of the opening I can make a mount to fit it.

Looks good - what is the inside diameter of the cup holders? How close does it come to the passengers seat? I have e36 seats and am not sure if this will fit.

Is this dead or will more of these be made?
